CONDUCTIVE AND ANTISTATIC URETHANES

We can custom formulate a Durethane conductive solid or foam polyurethane using Durethane C urethane elastomers to improve system performance where electrostatic dissipation (ESD) is an issue.

Durethane C

  • Conductive solid or foam polyurethane
  • Extremely uniform electrical conductivity
  • Low conductant loading, low migration

     

Durethane C protects electrically sensitive products from electrostatic discharge. Durethane C also manages electrical charges for use in developer, primary and bias charge rollers. Durethane C is available as Durethane S, Durethane F and Durethane M made conductive.

The uniform conductivity of Durethane C rollers is ideal for the removal of static buildup in sensitive handling devices, transport rollers and other material handling applications. Durethane C can eliminate static brushes in your assembly.

Conductive Durethane C uses low percentages of conductive additives to control the flow of electrical charges while preserving the strength, resilience, thermal stability and service life of the polyurethane. Industry wide alternative methods of making urethanes conductive involve toxic ingredients, and/or compromise the material's mechanical properties.
